These Ceramics Came From?
Country
of Origin - China, Ming Dynasty
- Vases

Vases
of youhuchunping shape, 18 centimetres high with very
faded cobalt blue designs divided into horizontal panels.
Scrolling chrysanthemum sprays decorate the main body, with
lotus
panels below and sprays of prunus or plum in the panel
above.
At the
upper
neck are plantain
leaves. Only minute
traces
of glaze remain, leaving the surface
matt. The
present colour of the
underglaze decoration is grey-blue. The
vases have
been made in upper and lower
parts joined at about the
point of their greatest diameter.
