Dr. Sun Yat Sen Stamps
Where These Stamps Came From?
Country of Origin - China

  • The Chinese Postal Service in 12th November, 1931 started to issue Dr. Sun Yat Sen portrait stamps.
  • The stamps were printed by Thomas De La Rue Co., Ltd. , London.
  • After printing, the inner circle around the centre of the sun emblem in the stamp design was found in the incorrect form of two circles.
  • De La Rue Co., corrected the error, thus Dr. Sun Yat Sen stamps were printed with double circle in the first London print and single circle in the second London print.
