of Origin - China
- The
Chinese Postal Service in 12th November, 1931 started to issue
Dr. Sun Yat Sen portrait stamps.
- The
stamps were printed by Thomas De La Rue Co., Ltd. , London.
- After
printing, the inner circle around the centre of the sun emblem
in the stamp design was found in the incorrect form of two circles.
- De
La Rue Co., corrected the error, thus Dr.
Sun Yat Sen stamps were printed with double circle in the
first London print and single circle in the second London
print.
