INTRODUCTION:
Shipwrecks Institute is a scientific, educational and non-profit making organisation. We are an associate of Collectibles-Museum.com and the SotheBay Group, we strongly urge our members and visitors to join us to participate in one of our recommended projects.

Shipwrecks Institute was incorporated with the fundamental purpose of disseminating information and database pertaining to shipwrecks:


  1. Discovery of shipwrecks
  2. Excavation of shipwrecks
  3. Recovery of artefacts 
  4. Process in treating artefacts
  5. Grading of artefacts
  6. Authentication of artefacts


We will also conduct:

1. international and regional conventions
2. conferences
3. seminars
4. symposiums

We will also publish our discoveries and research in:

1. books
2. newsletters
3. magazines

Shipwreck in fact, is a time capsule of mankind of the past. Some said shipwreck is a sunken treasure of certain people from their excavations. Other archaeologists and experts argued that these shipwrecks are the mankind cultural property belonging to all human being, shall be preserved and conserved, without damaging it through any form of salvation and excavation.


Collectibles-Museum.com and SotheBay Group strongly feel that these shipwrecks' mysteries shall be unlocked and be decoded for the better understanding of people; for their education, enjoyment and academic researches; or for their personal collection and investment from some of these excavated cultural artefacts.
We are now in the process of preparing some basic courses for those who are interesting to participate, for better understanding the real underwater world and cultural property of mankind in the past.
