What
is Coin?
 The
history of coin originated from the bartering (original
method of commerce, exchanging one commodity for another), then
in the 7th century B.C. in Lidia and Ionia in Asia Minor (now known
as Turkey), coins were invented !
As coins
were the first practical means of financial exchange because they
could easily be transferred from person to person. Gold, Silver
and Bronze became the standard for coins in these ancient times.
Primitive
forms of money in the world, especially in the Third World and North
America; is more recent and better documented than in Europe. Its
study sheds light on the probable origins of modern money.
